Ripples of silence
Thudding on the lonely mind
Amongst maddening crowd
Alone gasping for pertinence
Directions are ambiguous
And actions meaningless
Brain rushing thoughtless
Commune response dubious
Sudden unexpected trance
In faith’s devotion
Words lost in rhythm
Feeling God in blank glance……………..
I like the use of the words “thudding” with “silence”. The effect seems to amplify the silence to an oppressive level.
Thoughts and memories, all find their way to our heart when there is silence in the outer world, then only we hear the noise inside, claims and regrets all scream in silence………. Isn’t it so my friend………….
True. And we can’t escape it.
AND ESCAPE WE ALL LOOK FOR…….. So ironical
