A last touch

We have been drifting apart

And, it has been gone so long

Yet we kept holding together

For the feel of being ‘belong’

As last tune has paved its way

In the silence at the end of rhyme

Our chapters together has ended

With breaking echo of last chime

For long we have been stranded

On the shifting sands of tales

Carving images in the flickers

Which has long its luminous phase

Your desire was for burning sun

And I craved for soothing moon

We tried to live in twilight

And struggled long in hollow tunes

One phase stands at its end

Another at the start of new trend

Weary souls shredding tears at goodbye

Tomorrow new stories ought to begin
